Luke David Carlsen was born and raised in South Dakota. He spent years captivating audiences in LA clubs with his magnetic performances and rich voice — smooth vocals, vintage flair, and a commanding stage presence, playing standards with modern appeal. One unforgettable night, screen legend Billy Dee Williams attended a show, requested “Sentimental Journey,” and his praise became a turning point. Encouraged by industry veterans Tony Oppedisano and Mike Frondelli and co-writing with John Fox, Luke is now blending his love of storytelling with the grit and warmth of country music. His single “Out of the Night” broke into the FM radio Top 100.
